Shopping lists, for homeschool families with teens

A shared shopping list that keeps up while you shop.

"Anyone need anything?" texted from the checkout line. With FreeTheFridge, the family adds to one list, and you see it live in the store.

A grocery list in the FreeTheFridge app during a store run: You're shopping, with milk, eggs, apples, chicken thighs, paper towels and bread.

You always find out what you forgot in the parking lot.

The list is on the fridge, you're at the store, and the text about printer paper arrives after you've paid.

How it works

How shopping lists work

1

Everyone adds to the list

Milk, batteries, the thing for co-op. Anyone in the family can add from their phone, and you can keep separate lists for each store.

2

Tap Heading to the store

The family gets a heads-up that you're going. For the next 15 minutes, anything they add buzzes your phone (with notifications turned on).

3

Cross it off

Items cross off live on every phone, so nobody buys eggs twice. A teen with a license can take the run.

Built for families who run a lot of errands

Shopping lists are on the Free plan, for the whole family.

Focused on purpose

Three core features, done really well.

FreeTheFridge does chores, the family calendar and shopping lists, built for homeschool families with teens. If you need a fourth thing solved, like lesson plans, grades or budgeting, we're probably not your app, and that's okay.

Chill. It's handled.

The FreeTheFridge beta is open, and the first 100 families get a free year of Plus. Join and we'll send your family an invite.
